The country of Kenya is located in East Africa, bordered by South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Tanzania and coastline on the Indian Ocean. Its beautiful landscape includes savannah, lake lands, the Great Rift Valley, mountain highlands and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Kenya is a home of very diverse and rich wildlife.

School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND) are in seven communities throughout the country serving the people in different ministries /apostolates, educating women, the youth and children directly or indirectly. SSND is in Kiptere, Kisumu, Likuyani, Magwagwa, Nairobi, Nyabururu and Nyalienga.
